Fox’s prehistoric franchise continues with Ice Age: Continental Drift. John Leguizamo, Ray Romano, and Denis Leary return to voice Sid, Manny, and Diego respectively. According to our partner MRQE.com, critics are lukewarm about the 4th installment, but you’re not coming here for in depth character analysis. If you’re in the mood for something more indie, why not check out Frida Pinto in Trishna? Director Michael Winterbottom (The Killer Inside Me, The Trip) updates Thomas Hardy’s classic story Tess of the D’Ubervilles, placing it in modern India. Trishna (Pinto) is a young Indian woman who falls in love with the son of a rich real-estate man. He persuades her to work at his father’s hotel, but has to leave the job after becoming pregnant. The two cross paths later, as she tried to make a living as a dancer and he tries to sweep her off her feet.
